NAMED-CHECKCONF(1) BIND9 Programmer's Manual NAMED-CHECKCONF(1) NAME named-checkconf - named configuration file syntax checking tool. SYNOPSIS named-checkconf [-t directory] filename DESCRIPTION named-checkconf checks the syntax, but not sematics, of the configuration file for named. The options to named-checkconf are as follows: filename the name of the configuration file to be checked. If not speci- fied it defaults /etc/named.conf. -t chroot to directory so that include directives in the configura- tion file are processed as if run by a similarly chrooted named.
